What we collect
- Through the project brief: your name, company, email address and the project details you choose to share.
- Through direct contact by email or phone: the information you include in your message.
- In your browser: your language preference, stored locally on your device, and anonymous usage statistics collected by Google Analytics through cookies — only if you accept them in the cookie notice. You can change your choice anytime from “Cookie settings” in the footer. We do not use advertising cookies.
Why we use it
- To respond to your enquiry and assess your project.
- To prepare proposals and manage a commercial relationship with you.
- To comply with legal and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your data. We will only send you marketing communications if you give separate consent.
Your rights
As the data subject you may, free of charge:
- Know, update and correct your personal data.
- Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
- Be informed of how your data has been used.
- Revoke your authorization or request deletion, where no legal or contractual duty requires us to keep it.
- File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) after first contacting us.
How to exercise them
Write to operations@andesscientific.co with the subject “Habeas data”, your full name, ID and a description of your request.
We answer queries within 10 business days (extendable by 5) and claims within 15 business days (extendable by 8), as set out in articles 14 and 15 of Law 1581 of 2012.
Service providers and transfers
We use third-party providers for email, form delivery and hosting (Google Workspace for email, Formspree for forms, Hostinger for hosting and Google Analytics for usage statistics). Some may store data outside Colombia. They process data only on our instructions and under appropriate safeguards.
Security and retention
We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data, and keep it only for as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Validity
This policy is effective from 24 September 2025. Material changes will be published on this page.
